Hello, Boon Patriots!

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is ready for another great year at Boon Elementary!

My name is Ron DiDonato, and I am honored to serve as your Boon PTA President this year. My family has been part of the Boon community for many years. I am the proud dad of three daughters—Lily, Stella, and Ava—all three of whom have attended Boon.

Our oldest daughter, Lily, is now a senior at Allen High School. It is hard to believe that our time at Boon has gone by so quickly! This year will be especially meaningful for our family as Lily returns to Boon to ring the bell, bringing her journey at Boon full circle. Stella and Ava have also made countless memories here, and Boon has truly become a special part of our family.

As PTA President, my goal is to help make the PTA a place where every family feels welcome, every volunteer feels appreciated, and every student benefits from the work we do together. The PTA is here to support our teachers and staff, provide meaningful opportunities for our students, and help create the experiences and traditions that make Boon such a special place.

Getting involved doesn't have to mean making a huge time commitment. Whether it's attending a PTA event, helping in the library or cafeteria, volunteering for a field trip, joining us for one of our special events, or simply sharing an idea, every contribution makes a difference. There is a place for everyone, and if you're interested in getting involved but aren't sure where to start, please reach out. We'd love to help you find something that works for you.

We have a fun and full calendar planned for the year, with opportunities for our students and families to connect, celebrate, and make memories together. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Boon Patriot Post, our PTA newsletter, which will keep you up to date on upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved. You can also subscribe to our PTA calendar so you never miss what's happening at Boon.

On behalf of the PTA and all of our amazing volunteers, thank you for supporting Boon Elementary. A successful PTA is only possible because of the parents, teachers, staff, and community members who are willing to give their time, energy, and support. We truly appreciate everything you do for our school and our students.

I am looking forward to getting to know more of you and working together to make this a FANTASTIC year for the Boon Patriots!
